Giglio Porto village of Giglio Island
Giglio Porto is a classic seaside village developed along the curve of the harbour bay and characterized by the soft colours of its houses, already visible from afar. One of the village’s main features is its lively local life, with small shops where people meet every day, fresh fish stalls, boatmen waiting to take you to discover hidden coves, truly excellent restaurants, and finally the wonderful promenade along the harbour lined with little shops. As small, unusual and charming as they are convenient, there are two beaches and flat rocks (Saraceno Beach and Scalettino Beach) right next to the village, reachable on foot in less than five minutes.
